New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)

The NEIS Scheme is funded by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and its aim is to help unemployed

people start their own small business. The successful candidates undergo an intensive fully accredited training course in small business management for six weeks.Training places are provided by the Australian Government under the Productivity Places Program.

At the end of the training, if their small business idea is viable, they receive income support for a further twelve months. Training is provided through the Productivity Places Program.

Incentives Provided

Our Centre provides the following to assist participants throughout your time in the NEIS Scheme:

• NEIS allowance of up to 12 months to assist you whilst establishing the business plus any income you make from the business.
• 6 weeks accredited training-Certificate IV In Small Business Management(all course materials provided free)
• Mentor support provided over a twelve month period free of charge
• Free Computer Facilities
• Small Business Management Book provided to keep for your ongoing reference
• One on One review of Business Plan with trainers provided
• Free USB provided

Over 2,300 people have commenced a small business through the Scheme and we are proud of the fact that over 75% of these clients are:

• Still trading
• Commenced full-time employment
